Lucas is a prisoner to Kaleb. Kaleb wants him; body and soul. Lucus does not want to give that up to him though. He wants only one thing:

His freedom.

He has been there for five months though, and has not been outside the walls of Kaleb's mantion in that time. While he as been there, though, he has been trying to find a way out. Now, he will try that. If he finds his way out, and manages to not be found, he has won.

But if Kaleb claims him before then, he has lost everything.
