'Do you know how worried we were?' his brother asked, a hiss sounding as Tommy attempted to move to look up at him. He was only squeezed tighter in response. 'You didn't come home last night. How was I supposed to know that you hadn't gotten lost?' Tommy swallowed nervously, gently wrapping his arms around his sibling's torso and clutching onto the fabric of their coat. 'The forest would have shown me the way back,' he managed. 'Besides, I'm sorry- I- I lost track of time and-' 'You lost track of time?' came a snarl, a barely concealed rattle hiding beneath his words. Tommy tensed up, hiding his face in their chest and holding on even tighter.
