Kya called Lin asking for a ride to the harbor so she could return to Air Temple Island. The detective promptly made herself available and went to get her friend, she just didn't imagine the kind of Earth Kingdom dance that Kya practiced.

(Or, Kya has been taking a pole dancing class since she discovered the practice in the Earth Kingdom and Lin discovers it as best she can, not my best synopsis...)
