Dedication

Deirdre flees from her family home in the midst of an escalating physical altercation between her mothers. She adventures through the city on her own, using the adventure as a "break" from her chaotic household.
She inwardly struggles with her desire to go home versus wanting to stay in the busy and brightly-lit city. She also finds a loyal friend in her shadow, listening to it and happily enjoying its company.
We follow her on her journey.
