Prologue

The year was 1899, when the small town of Black Hill was subject to the worst series of crimes they'd ever seen. Six brutal murders, each one worse than the last and with no apparent pattern... At least for most.

Sheriff's Deputy, Will McClain, is hot on the killer's trail, but when a massive thunderstorm strikes him down, he must decide between his passion, his family, and his own life.
