Blaidd was born with a burden, in a world in which magic and exuberance means everything. As the seventh daughter of a noble family of faeries, she was born without color, without wings, and without magic.

Since her birth Blaidd has been accused, singled out, and cursed just for being different, and the secrets of a tragic fate cover up her existence.

A seventh daughter has no right to live in the human world, but Blaidd will live to fulfill a destiny that has been awaited for six hundred years.
