CHAPTER 1

Disaster! Someone has stolen Shamshel's, the Gate Guardian's, fiery sword! Without it, Shamshel is slowly losing control of himself and his fiery heat, growing erratic and setting off fires wherever he steps! The sword must be returned to him before the next red moon, or Shamshel will implode on himself and die!
Dara and Kiet want to help their fiery cousin, and so does their mother, Kohsoom. However, the revelation of the Chaos Insurgency being the sword's thieves makes the case all the more complicated. Will the family of three safely return the sword to Shamshel? Or will the fiery Gate Guardian die an equally fiery death before he is ready?
