Chapter 1 - The Coffee Shop

Scientist Helen Valli was often called a Tomboy as a child. No one was more surprised than her when she found herself longing for a daughter after producing three treasured sons. Her body though, had other ideas. Gynaecological problems made it perfectly clear that her 'baby factory' was well and truly shut. That should have been the end of it, but a chance encounter with a group of 'reborn' lifelike doll enthusiasts has Helen questioning her own sanity, and, more shockingly, pleading her own innocence.
