Chickens, or Popcorn?

A young girl named Salem is discovered practicing magic without training, which is illegal in human lands. She is bought from the family, and taken to a magical university to be trained. She lives as a slave, and a student. It quickly becomes apparent that this girl is more magical than most, as the adventure begins.
