Veronica Plumber. Or that's what the newsies knew her as. A female publisher, along with her sister Katherine, wanting to write about a newsies strike to get a better story than just shows of the races. Along the way, she falls for the newsie with a cigar. She didn't know what to do about it, knowing that her father, Joseph Pulitzer, would never approve of her being with a newsie. After the strike her father lets her and Katherine sage whoever they want and they both go for a newsie they fell for along the way, and maybe even get married and have kids with them.
