Chapter 1

Born into a world where super-humans are the norm, and have even been made a part of the military and law enforcement, Daniel thinks he's the only one who hates the costumed crusaders. He's even hidden his own abilities in spite of a government registry so that he can live a normal life where he can goof off with his friends, court his crush, and help his sister Rachel put her mind back together after it was shattered by war. But, when a local costumed crime fighter sees Daniel use his unregistered abilities, he promises to keep quiet, only if Daniel agrees to use his unique ability to help him thwart a sinister plot.
