Description
Northridge Family Baptist Church has been around for over 100 years. One of the most prolific evangelical communities in Pretoria, South Africa, the church espouses conservative beliefs. Nathan Bartholomew shepherds the church with an iron fist. He gives his congregation a sense of purpose, and remains convicted in his beliefs in spite of the changing tides of society. He believes in his mission and will stop at nothing to spread it. His son, Michael, is having doubts. He shepherds the youth and answers their troubling questions to the best of his abilities. His sisters support him, even though they do not always agree with his liberal questioning of tradition. Then he meets Sarah. A courtesan of a lower class, the young lady gives Michael a sense of purpose he never felt before. He finds himself becoming even more at odds with his beliefs, but wants to find a way to reconcile them. Even though his father and sisters will not understand. Even though society may not even understand. What can he do to make a better fellowship for all, regardless of their background?
