A short story about some struggles faced by a Singaporean student while growing up. If you're a student, especially Singaporean or Asian, you might find our heroine's struggle extremely familiar. After all, the story has been inspired by real people and events. The creative writing style of the story should also be familiar to the Singaporean students, so forgive the 'big' words used at times. I do admit sometimes the phrases could be simpler but such is one way to stand out in PSLE creative writing. Thank you for reading my story.
