Chapter 1: Bella, Bella

Scarlet was your typical beauty. Rich brown hair that hung down to her waist, lightly tanned skin (her Sri Lankan heritage was to blame for that, as well as creating a mysterious and ‘foreign’ persona) and a smile that effortlessly transformed her face into that of a model.
You’d think that this is yet another story of a popular, beautiful girl having some dark secret or being the school terror but alas, this is a story of friendship and Scarlett isn’t the only main character.
That would be me. The other main character. An ordinary-looking, musically-focused, story-writing female, oh, and her best friend.
