CHAPTER 1

Meadow Brown was a wild butterfly lured into the lights of the New World. If only she knew it was a trap, she wouldn't have flown all the miles there. Her wings were broken, and she could not run for her life. She had only a few more days before the collapse of a World gone through a metamorphosis. Meadow stood there, watching the head of society burn together with the rest of the world. Her hand was in his, and behind her back stood the civilization reborn from its ashes.
