Prologue

Hermione Granger is eighteen-years-old and gets the opportunity of a lifetime to work in the Department of Mysteries in their Time Room. Once there, she receives her assignment - figure out how to prolong the distance for Time-Turners, and attempt to save a life, if at all possible.

Hitting wall after wall, Hermione thinks she is missing something. The question is: What is it?
