Description
Seventeen year olds Griffin and Hope are a menace to society. They're more dangerous than Benedict Arnold, Al Capone and Charles Manson combined. Why? Because they play a weird game with funny dice called Dungeons & Dragons. But it's 1985 and religious leaders and psychology professionals have declared Dungeons & Dragons dangerous. It isn't just a game of geeky imagination, it's a cult of Satanism and witchcraft! All Griffin and Hope really want to do is take a road trip to Wisconsin and meet their hero Gary Gygax, inventor of the game they love, but the entire world seems to be against them. Griff and Hope use the skills they learned playing years of Dungeons & Dragons not just to reach Wisconsin, but to help other outcasts targeted by the "moral majority" along the way: including headbangers, gay clubbers, punk rockers, and even a real Satanist.
