Shadyside, aka "Killer Capital, USA", a town known for its long history of notorious serial killers dating all the way back to 1666. Fier Mental Institution was founded in 1700 for survivors of the killings.

Over 300 years later, the town still deals with tragedy after tragedy. Although, in 1995, weird events begin to unfold at the institution. Surviving Shadysiders begin to question the local legend of Sarah Fier and "the Witch's Curse"
