Princess Nebula was unloved by her mother, Queen Galaxy.

Her mother ignored her, always. She favorited Nebula's sisters, Meteorite and Asteroid. They fought with brute force and violence. Nebula was always too smart for her, a rule follower who fought with words. She was also a freak of nature. Nobody expected it when Nebula's clever mind brought her to be Queen.
