When forty-year-old, Kathy Small attends her first conference for lesbian romance and fiction, she is hesitant about what kind of reception she will get. Kathy has Down Syndrome, and there are a lot of misconceptions about the syndrome. When she meets Marcie, a visually impaired woman assigned as her conference buddy, she wonders if things will be different this time. Will Kathy find love and finally lose her virginity to the woman she is wildly attracted to?
