Newt Issac is an omega, he belongs to no pack and roams his school as a loner. Everybody is apart of a pack, all omegas belong to one, even if they are the weakest. It sure doesn't help either that Newt is a bratty, non submissive omega. He doesn't let any alpha control him without a fight.

Thomas Edison is an alpha, he leads the Maze Runner pack and is known to be one of the strongest alphas at their school. He's angry, mean and very dominant.

Yet it makes it hard to be the baddest alpha when he can't get Newt to submit to him.
