Description
Rage. Fear. Bloodlust. Born into the vicious SkullClan, these are the forces that have ruled young Flint's life. His mother was killed for speaking out against the Clan's ways, and by his own father, who has only ever seen Flint as a disappointment. His sister died of illness, and his brothers believe that he will join her before he reaches apprentice age. One day, a mysterious cat named Owl offers to take Flint away from the battle-hungry warriors of SkullClan and to the guardians of FalconClan, who are said to be cats of honor that would never turn away a cat in need. Along with an orphaned kit named Sorrel, Flint is taken to FalconClan in hopes of being raised in the ways of the guardian code, the code of honor that FalconClan lives by. The kits are accepted, but questions arise about their loyalties when SkullClan follows them to FalconClan's territory with the intention of making sure that FalconClan, a Clan with a reputation for killing bloodthirsty cats and destroying groups of them, can never challenge them. Will these young cats live to be named guardians, or will they, along with FalconClan, be killed by the very cats that they sought to escape?
