Everything had been going down lately: Lila's return from Achu, Master Fu being forced to give her the Miraculous Box, her declining trust from her classmates, her friendships seeming to fall through her fingers, the increase in akuma attacks. Marinette, feeling like she has no one left to rely on, falls back on her Ladybug persona. Things change dramatically as Marinette focuses single-mindedly on her goals and disregards the things she no longer deems important.
