She was smart. She was beautiful. Althea had been adopted by the Barnes family when she was young, since she had been abandoned at a young age. She was good friends with Bucky and Steve, since she and Bucky were similar in age. She was the only girl that didn't see Steve as weird or lesser than since he was small and not very healthy. When Althea went to the Stark Expo with Bucky and Steve, she accidentally bumps into Howard Stark. Howard believes the girl is beautiful, a goddess, and he is mesmerized by her looks. He wants her, and he will do anything to have her. Althea and Howard don't have the healthiest relationship later on either. For a while, she hated him, or she thought she did, but it seemed her body knew otherwise.
