They say the ghosts of the past still haunt us. They say ghosts move on to the Pure Lands. Maybe both of these people are correct, maybe some ghosts can't help but linger. And of course, that is what the Seishin clan preach: that ghosts are still around us, and that they can be controlled. Of course, something as complex as the afterlife requires a complex solution. Naturally, I speak of human sacrifice. But this is no Reanimation Jutsu; far more primitive than that. Nara Itsuki, at the meagre age of four, was taken from Konohagakure by the Seishin clan as a sacrifice. Old enough to remember his village, but not old enough to form a true connection to it.
