[Previously Arrested by Love] I broke our intense kiss to murmur, “You’re not supposed to be doing this.” I was breathless and my voice came out rugged and husky. He kissed me again, and I felt his lips move under mine. “Since when do you care about what’s right?” he had a point. I’d been arrested six times. This was my seventh. I always managed to run away, but then again, I’d always been convicted for something I’d actually done. Not this time though. I couldn’t escape, and it was all because of this gorgeous police officer. And if I thought the biggest shock of my life was to find out I was in love with a police officer, and more; that he loved me back, I had another thought coming. The biggest surprise of all was finding out what I was accused of, and let me clue you in: it wasn’t petty theft.
