"Scarlet had wandered her local Walmart for what felt like days. She couldn't find what she was looking for. What was she looking for again? Sometimes her mind grew fuzzy but the pangs of hunger would bring her back to reality." A short story following Scarlet as she discovers someone who may be the love of her life, if only she can get him. As with all my stories, feedback and criticisms are greatly appreciated! Anything you give me can help me write stories better to your liking in the future. Because I want to eventually write stories that get sold in book stores (yes I'm old) I really want to learn as much as I possibly can from all of my writing. So please, don't hold back. Don't worry about my feelings. I want to learn and I can't do that without feedback. Even if you just think my story is trash, that helps me to know! This was actually my first proper short story for my class. We were challenged to include a specific set of key words in it. I think I snuck some in more eloquently than others. But hopefully the story is still enjoyable regardless.
