In the year 2040, technology started to hit its peak. Mechanical body parts were getting more and more popular. The crime rate went up, and the police couldn't do much about it, corruption was even worse and the drugs got worst with the technology and the new chemicals. Everything was out of control by 2060. People just adapted, and it became the new norm, police didn't do much (it was mostly corrupted anyway), prisons weren't useful anymore, at less 70% of the population had a criminal records. Although technology has made miracles like saving the planet from global warming and took control over pollution, it still caused many more problems. Mafias became way more of a problem and some companies turned really shady. Now the year is 2085, things are neutral for now. Cities are high and dangerous, but still very good for profit. People lived there for the challenge and the stories to tell to others about. The city of Solipsis, recognized for its mechanical and money industries, but also for its high crime levels, is the home of our dear detective Emett T. Caddel. Emett gets called into work early and what starts as a small murder, ends up uncovering so much more than he ever could imagine.
