Augustine Miller, a fifteen year old girl, lives alone in a safe house through a wall in an old back alley, created by none other than Ned Leeds! (He's been getting some magic lessons from our friend Doctor Strange!)

August can't really help but feel alone, even if it's been her life since she was ten years old. She'd been in the middle of tug o' war between Hydra and SHIELD, and now is hunted by both. She's killed for both, but that doesn't seem to matter to either of these organizations.

Running is now August's strong suit, but what happens when she accidentally tries to text her 'friend' Abigail, but texts Natasha Romanoff instead? And what if at that same time, Natasha was in a meeting to hunt down Manifest... aka Augustine Miller.
