Chapter One

Alex (Alexa) has had a pretty normal childhood. Minus the fact that she is taller and lighter than average, but is still super athletic. Her mom homeschools her, and they go camping out in the wild every weekend. But one day, Alex's single mother tells her to run and to not let Them get her, though Alex has no idea who "They" are. She has no way of knowing how to ask for help or socialize, but is still smarter than most, thanks to her mom. What will happen when she's out on her own, fending for herself?
