Chapter One:

Maxx Zander is known as the "girl-who-hates-everything". And let me tell you, that is complete bullshit. The only thing she hates is feelings, and trust. She's lost her trust in everyone she's ever known, and her new camp friends are not the exception. But, there is one boy at camp who seems to understand what she's going through. Together, this young male and Maxx must battle Ancient Armies, defeat merciless and blood lusting villains, and find the strength to at least trust each other. The only way you win a war, is with allies. But can Maxx find it in her heart to help the people who wronged her the most?
