Trouble stirs throughout the Mycelium covered streets of Elliodel. The Emperor has ruled for centuries under his immortal grip, using a strange psychedelic substance to control the masses. Sky has lived in the city his entire life, watching his family and friends succumb to a life of addiction and control. He begins to assemble a small crew, sharing powers that were supposed to be a secret, only spoken of by the Emperor with a whisper.
On the other side of the City a young noblewoman prepares for her arranged wedding. Io had never been able to make a single decision in her life, decisions were her fathers business. Meeting with her girlfriend Nathalia under the cover of night they imagine a life together, far away from Io's father.
