Not only has it been several years since they have seen each other, Killua and Gon, but they've been through quite some interesting stuff in the several years apart. It's been a huge roller-coaster, and nothing seems to be going anyone's way at all. At Nen University, Gon's new school doesn't seem to be what it was when he first arrived. Sure, it might be good at the start, but it slowly starts to change as he realizes some people aren't what he thought they were.
