Prologue

9th grader, Pate Springfield, is not like the other girls at her school. She has a secret. Not an ordinary secret. But no one knows she even has this secret- the ability to stop time. Pate finds herself in an odd spot when the "new kid", Franklin, catches her in the midst of her dilemma. There's only one way out, as Pate tries to escape from reality- into the depths of time.
