Description
Clover works two jobs to provide for her and her family. As her mother deteriorates, she has to become more dedicated than ever to her family. As Carlos travels around the world to race in Formula One, Clover stays home in Chicago, never straying too far from her house with the deteriorating condition of her mother and her younger brothers' needs. When Clover is diagnosed with a rare condition of brain cancer herself, but with her mother not getting better and her brothers being to young yet, she can not bring herself to stop working, taking care of her brothers and refusing the money and care Carlos offers her - until Carlos refuses to let her decline everything and takes their financial state into his own hands. Because Clover does not own a phone, they write to each other as their way of contact. And even when she is not around anymore, Carlos will write to her until the end of her time and even after that, too.
