Prologue A story within a story

Follow Maydeen through the land of Brimble. Before It was known as Brimble, where the land is filled with hate and violence. Even the Elements are against each other, and Maydeen Norel is stuck between two worlds that hate her.
She is known as the daughter of nature, half Elemental, half human although unusual and thought to be impossible Maydeen has the ability to control all the Elements. But after a terrible accident Maydeen makes a promise to never use magic again. How long can she keep it in? And why do her emotions spike when she meets Erak, the tough seemingly heartless Bounty hunter set on turning her in for gold.
With the help of the Elements, and her few friends, can the half-blood bring peace to the war bound world
