Dear Reader

In the face of war, a newly orphaned fifteen-year-old queen Hareti Jaja, travels the desert to seek the favor of the Goddess of the old: Oshun. Here, the Goddess blesses her with the gift of victory in exchange for an heir. The new queen must one day birth a new deity, and so she waits for three hundred years for the promised one to be born.
