Nature has made up her mind that what cannot defend itself shall not be defended. Those are the words Sage has lived her whole life by. Born in the gutters of Grime, a city full of degeneracy, Sage has had a lot to prove. At 8 years old, she crosses paths with Tau, another street-savvy kid with nowhere to go. Deciding to unit, the pair manage to transform their humble beginning into a thriving black-market business, wielding power and influence over the city's dealings. Despite their amassed wealth and status, Sage is unsatisfied, and eager for something greater. When an enticing business offer appears from a citizen of Alloy, a neighbouring city of prosperity and affluence, Sage sees it as her ticket out of Grime. Thrown into a whole new world, Sage is forced to prove herself all over again, and build her new empire from scratch.
