A remnant of the long-forgotten past of two kingdoms and the Rulers of Frost and Flame still lives with blood and flesh.

Travelling through the land, facing meetings and partings, the mystery of the nature of things clings resolutely.

With its knowledge and experience, the fragment passes the days, unfettered. It is said that true freedom comes when one is unneeded, but if those words were heard by him, he would only laugh and say,

"I am the last Shade, and the significance of these words has been eroded into nothing."
