Description
Heroes sacrifice anything for the greater good and one hero is facing the biggest challenge of his life. His long time nemesis is about to cross a line that will change everything and the hero has to stop him. Heroes always stop villains. But this time the hero can't save the day and it appears all will be lost until the villain gives him a startling proposal. If the hero can give up heroics for a year, he'll stop his cataclysmic plot and give up villainy for a year. If the hero goes back to heroics before the time is up, the villain will resume his destructive plan. But if the villain does anything villainous, the hero will be given a way to stop him forever. If they both make it through the year, the villain will give up supervillainy and they can go their separate ways. With no good choice, the hero agrees. This will save many lives and he's sure he can outlast the villain. It's going to be a long year. Prompts 41, 51, 69.
