In 1984, Rebecca Winchester relocates to Reseda California with her father, Dean Winchester and her uncle, Sam Winchester a year after the death of her mother.

Upon her arrival, she meets Daniel LaRusso, and the two are invited to a beach party. At the beach party, they meet Ali Mills (who soon becomes her best friend), Ali's ex-boyfriend, Johnny Lawrence and his friends the Cobra Kais.

Rebecca witnesses a violent brawl between Johnny and Daniel, and she catches the eye of the dreamy Cobra Kai boy, Bobby Brown.

What happens when Bobby and Rebecca begin to fall deeply in love?
