Author's Note - Introduction

Hailey received a call saying that her husband asked for an extension. How will this affect Hailey and their relationship? Will this change how Hailey thinks about Jay? Will he ever come home? This story takes place after Jay left to join the military tracking down the worst cartels in Bolivia (Chicago PD - 10x03).
