he stood under the light of a street lamp. the light was dim and shone in a orange soft color. it lightened up around the blonde boy and the small round spot around him. he stood silently at the usual spot.
car after car passed by, every red shine from the light gave him false hope. the wind was cold and he had to pull his jacket tight together around himself to provide warmth.
why hasn't he showed up yet?
