Chapter 1

Sixteen year old Ocean Ruck is in Command School. She has for a while. She had been waiting to get reported to Space School to go into outer space for six years and to learn how to fight the aliens and destroy their colony.

She later meets Ender Wiggin and becomes friends with him, who also has the dream to go to Space School. The only thing is that they don't have anyone but themselves. Will they ever make it?
