Ocean has spent her whole life taking care of herself. Her parents are addicted to alcohol and drugs. she's worked ever since the day she could providing for her mom, dad, and little sister Sage. But shes finaly getting out of Azure Montana population 286, shes going to Evergreen Prep to start her senior year of high school, and she's taking her sister Sage with her. Determined not to let her parents ruin her future and certainly NOT Sage's, Ocean embarks on a emotional journey to free her and her sister from their abusive past lives and heal through the unexplainable love that they find throughout their journey.
