Cast

Kasey Norton loves the Washington Capitals and becoming their athletic trainer is her dream. She is hired by them and is over the moon about it. On her first day of work, the first player she meets is Tom Wilson, number 43 on the team.

Tom Wilson's ex-fiancé, Taylor Pischke, invites him to her wedding, wanting to patch up their friendship. Wilson doesn't think it's such a great idea, but thinks that going with a girl would make Taylor jealous. He hasn't dated anyone since Taylor broke up with him.

As part of his plan, Tom asks Kasey to pretend to be his girlfriend and his plus one to Taylor's wedding. But, despite only pretending to be in love, the two begin to fall in love for real during the two months before the wedding occurs.
