Set in the gloomy state of Washington, Winter is a student studying at a private university to become an artist. Through the troubles and turmoils that she had to endure, she relearns to build up her confidence along with the help of her English Professor Michael. He is smart, quiet man who keeps to himself only to realize he can't keep Winter out of his way for long. Together, they learn from one another on what it's like to not only be brave, but to accept themselves.
