Chapter 1. The Vampire and the Alpha

Nyla Hunter is a nineteen year old vampire. She lost her parents at the age of 12 when they were murdered by wolves. Even among her own clan of vampires, she's an outcast. Nyla's hardened her heart, promising herself never to love anybody again, in fear of losing them. And then she meets Rogan Walker, a 23 year old alpha werewolf. When he first sees her, he knows they're mates and regardless of the law, he vows to make her his own. Nyla, however, has set her mind on running from him. Little does she know that there is no way Rogan is letting her go now that he's found her. And he will do anything and kill any person, who gets in his way.
