As an overweight child Vanessa Hatty was always teased for her plus-sized figure, and because of that she wasn't much of a social butterfly. With only Page Jackson as a friend, she couldn't help but worship the ground she walked on. She was Vanessa's idol, but it turned out that Page wasn't exactly the best friend Vanessa pitched her to be. Being bullied and teased by her peers was something Vanessa was used to, but nothing could prepare her for when Page became enemy number 1.

The worst day ever was what broke Vanessa in front of the whole school. Her mother, deeming the environment unsafe for her little girl, enrolled her into Charter school. Three years past and Vanessa is back in Mayville under certain circumstances. She's not the same Fatty Hatty, she's different both mentally and physically-to a point where she's unrecognisable.

When Vanessa is suddenly invited into Page's glorified clique of friends, Vanessa realises, unlike her, everything is still the same. No one seems to burdened by the fact that they ruined a poor girl's life and put her through so much. But not for long.

Revenge is a word that comes to mind for Vanessa and she likes the idea. She would strike when they least expect it. Like a wolf in sheepskin, lurking until all their guards were dropped and she would get her revenge.

Revenge on the boy who broke her heart, and laughed at the broken pieces.
