mike wheeler is pretty dumb. but will couldn't fool him for long, so when mike thanked el for the painting which he thought she commissioned, and she said she didn't commission anything, mike was angry. will didnt know what he was getting himself into when he lied to mike, but maybe it wasn't that bad of a decision in the end.
